In questo film Mike – Matt Damon ci intriga con il suo fascino American old Style, con camicia di flanella e brocchini, e la sua lotta tra restare sulla retta via e la passione per il gioco d’azzardo. Verme – Edward Norton come al solito ci stuzzica con il suo essere bello, cattivo e quindi adorabile. Joey Knish – John Turturro ci coccola con il suo fare protettivo. Ma chi ci conquista è lui: Teddy KGB – John Malkovich. Proprietario di un club privato dove si gioca ovviamente d’azzardo ripulisce l’ingenuo Mike all’inizio del film. Spietato, per niente bello, assolutamente non simpatico, ma con un vizietto adorabile. Mangia quantità industriali di biscotti Oreo. Nel farlo segue un metodo preciso: li apre facendo ruotare i due biscotti al cioccolato l’uno nel senso inverso dell’altro. Un gesto semplice ma ipnotico, che non ti fa rilassare finchè non lo vedi finire di mangiare tutto il biscotto.

Worm – Edward Norton as usual teases us with his being beautiful, bad and therefore adorable. Joey Knish – John Turturro pampers us with his protective behavior. But he who conquers us is Teddy KGB – John Malkovich. Owner of a private club where gambling obviously cleans up the naive Mike at the beginning of the film. Ruthless, not at all beautiful, absolutely not likeable, but with an adorable vice. Eat industrial quantities of Oreo cookies. In doing so, he follows a precise method: he opens them by rotating the two chocolate biscuits in the opposite direction of the other. A simple but hypnotic gesture, which does not make you relax until you see it finish eating all the biscuit.
