Milky è una busta di latte con braccia, gambe, occhi allucinati e sorriso drogato, un “cartone” ballerino e intraprendente, a cui capitano un sacco di avventure. Nei paesi anglofoni si è soliti stampare sulle buste di latte i volti delle persone scomparse e così su Milky è stato stampato il faccione di Graham Coxon, umorale chitarrista della band, che sembra essere scappato di casa.

Milky is a bag of milk with arms, legs, hallucinated eyes and drug addicted smile, a dancer and enterprising “cartoon”, to which a lot of adventures happen. In the English-speaking countries it is customary to print the faces of the missing persons on the envelopes of milk and so on Milky the large face of Graham Coxon was printed, a humoral guitarist of the band, who seems to have run away from home.

T-shirt bianca dedicata a Milky, protagonista del video dei Blur “Coffee and TV”. Milky è una busta di latte con braccia, gambe, occhi allucinati e sorriso drogato, un “cartone” ballerino e intraprendente, a cui capitano un sacco di avventure. Nei paesi anglofoni si è soliti stampare sulle buste di latte i volti delle persone scomparse e così su Milky è stato stampato il faccione di Graham Coxon, umorale chitarrista della band, che sembra essere scappato di casa. Graham è un tipo fuggiasco anche nella realtà: nel 2002, in rotta con Demon Albarn, lasciò i Blur per dedicarsi ai suoi fallimentari progetti solisti, per poi ritornarvi con la coda tra le gambe nel 2008. A casa Coxon tutti sono tristi, sorella, padre e madre, così il cartone di latte, visibilmente commosso, decide di andare cercare il figliol prodigo. Durante il difficile viaggio di ricerca nella city londinese, la busta incontra anche l’amore: una dolce bustina rosa di latte alla fragola. L’idillio dura pochissimo, perché l’amata finisce calpestata da un passante. Milky piange due secondi, poi torna a sorridere come un cretino, a saltellare contento e a cacciarsi nei guai. Poi finalmente trova Coxon in una specie di pollaio, dove sta provando una canzone con i Blur. Il chitarrista-cantante trova la busta, vede il suo volto stampato, si ricorda di avere una famiglia e decide di ritornare. Prima però beve il contenuto di Milky e lo accortoccia perbene, uccidendolo. Mondo ingrato! Finisce così la vita mortale della busta, che ascende al cielo come angelo, ricongiungendosi con la sua amata.

Graham is a fugitive type even in reality: in 2002, en route with Demon Albarn, he left the Blur to devote himself to his failed solo projects, and then returned with his tail between his legs in 2008. At Coxon everyone is sad, sister, father and mother, so the milk carton, visibly moved, decides to go look for the prodigal son. During the difficult research trip in the London city, the envelope also meets love: a sweet pink strawberry milk sachet. The idyll lasts very little, because the beloved ends up trampled by a passerby. Milky cries for two seconds, then returns to smile like an idiot, to jump happily and get into trouble. Then he finally finds Coxon in a kind of chicken coop, where he is rehearsing a song with Blur. The guitarist-singer finds the envelope, sees his printed face, remembers having a family and decides to return. But first he drinks Milky’s contents and treats him well, killing him. Ungrateful world! Thus ends the mortal life of the envelope, which ascends to heaven as an angel, rejoining his beloved.

T-shirt donna bianca ispirata al famoso manifesto di Howard Miller del 1943 raffigurante una donna che si tira su la manica della camicetta e dice “We can do it!”. Tale manifesto venne commissionato all’artista dalla compagnia Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company, con il fine di appenderlo all’interno della propria fabbrica.
